As part of the returning content with Into the Light, thefan-favoriteexotic mission has made its comeback, with players that complete it able to get their hands on the Outbreak Perfected exotic pulse rifle, which can now be crafted.
This exotic missionwas notoriouslydifficult, at leastcompared to your typical non-endgame Destiny 2 content.So, if you're a new player who hasn't had the chance to play this mission or a veteran whosimply needs a refresher, then this Zero Hour walkthrough will, hopefully, help you complete it with relative ease.

Destiny 2 Zero Hour guide
To kick off our guide, you'll first want to know how to access it. The directory can be a bit cumbersome at times, so let's point you in the right direction.
How to start the Zero Hour mission in Destiny 2
If you want toaccess the Zero Hour exotic mission, youneed togo to The Tower, Destiny 2's social space.Land using The Annex landing zoneasyou'll need to talk to Ada-1 to pick up thequest called Asset Protection.
From there, open the Destinations tab on the menu and click on the Into the Light node, theZero Hour mission will be on the bottom right of the screen.
Now that you know how to launch it, time to get into the actual quest.
Destiny 2 Zero Hour walkthrough
As soon as you launch it, you'll notice a warning that says the activityis timed. You'll havea total of40 minutes on the regular version to complete the mission.
The initial encounter issupersimpleasyou only need to clear some enemies. A blocked pathway will then unlock. Make your way through the narrow corridorandyou'll find yourself in a very nostalgic place: the original Tower of Destiny 1.
Again, it's all about clearing waves of enemies, with a Brig standing as the miniboss of this section. As soon as you clear this area, look for a small section with rubbish scattered around near the edge of the Tower, you'll have to take this path to continue the mission.
Follow the corridor until you reach the hangar section of the Tower, which will be overrun by plenty of Servitors and other types of enemies, including a big Walker which will likely require your Super to take down, especially if you're trying this challenge solo, so keep that in mind.
Once you've taken down the Walker, take the stairs behind it to reach yet another corridor infested with enemies.Eventually, you'llreach a sealed room, dispatch the enemies, and continueforward.
Next, you'll find yourself in a section that'scrumbling down, andhead towards a half-closed door with a big letter M next to it. Slide under it and drop down.
Continue moving through a small vent until you reach thedeeperTower ruins and a massive ship as you continue to drop.Look below theshipto see another open vent whichyou can crawl through to your next destination.
As youmake your waythrough this claustrophobic section, you'll eventually reach a seemingly closed-off section. This time, thenextventilation you need to take is a bit hidden, located behind this cabinet.
Walk forward and as soon as you see a vent on your right, shoot it and drop down again. After landing in the section below you, enter the vent once more. Follow the path until you reach the exterior of the Tower, jump, and land on a dangling platform that's painted yellow.
Now here's areallytricky part. Jump and get as close as you can to the wall, don't waste your mobility ability as you'll need it in a few seconds. Once the wall ends, you'll see a metal industrial-like catwalk in front of you, time your movement ability correctly to make your way to it.
After you land there, jump up to the second level. In the third section, you'll find an open vent on top of you, getinside. Hereit'stime to do some simple platforming, as each platform willbe markedin bright yellow, so keep climbing until you reach yet another vent.
Inside the vent, turn left and continue moving forward. Eventually, you'll find yourself on top of some giant fans. You'll want to jump on top of them and then jumptowards the small cavities to avoid getting hit by the fan blades.
At the bottom, it's time for more, you guessed it, vents! Enter and immediately turn left. In this section, you'll need to be on point with your jumps and there will be a small area where you can land on each side of the wall. Make your way to the other side of the room after jumping from wall to wall one time.
Here, it's time for more vents, turn left then right when you get to another small room to reach the next section.
How to navigate the Zero Hour Maze in Destiny 2
If you think this has been a walk in the park so far, you'll be correct, but things are about to change. We'll try to keep the wording as simple as possible to avoid confusing you.
In this section,we're going toassume you're trying to do this with at least one more player since trying it solo requires a lot of coordination anddexteritythat newcomers or first-timers to the mission might not have yet.
You'll need to hit four switches, with the locations marked on a minimap, which you can see below.
Once you drop into the maze, divide your tasks so that one players goes to the right and one goes to the left.
The player going to the right needs to run forward and take a left. Keep running until you find a split in the hall. Turn right and into another rectangle. Follow the path and hit the first switch. Keep running until you reach the original hallway.
The player going left needs to follow the same instructions but mirrored, so instead of taking a left, they need to go right and vice versa.
If you're fastenough you'll bypass an electrical door that will block your path, ifnotdon't fret, you cansimplywait for it to go down and move forward once again.
When the power goes out, turn right, again this is for the player that originally went right, the left player needs to take a left here.
If you hear an enemy going about try to hide or simply outrun it as you'll get instantly killed if you come into contact with it. You'll see some pipes, this is your ticket to safety.
After the machine is gone, jump back to the hallway, take a left, find the open hallway on the right, hit the switch, and return to the main hallway.
After hitting all four switches, take two rights to reach the exit. Get on an elevator, shoot out the vent, go down the chute, and crawl through the vent on the floor.Once you're in the next room, look for some pipes and a Cryptarch symbol near a wall, walk and stand next to it to reveal a hidden chamber
Destiny 2 Zero Hour floor puzzle
In this chamber, you'll find a grid with six rows and five panels each. You need to walk in the correct order to avoid getting killed. To make matters easy, we've created a grid below and numbered the steps you need to take to make it to the other side.
Start from the bottom of the grid until you reach the upper row. We will be numbering the steps in sequential order.

The exit will be a small hole on the floor glowing red, youcan't miss it.
Zero Hour Siriks boss fight
When you drop down,you'll find a Fallen Captain named Siriks surrounded by allies.Defeat the enemies until Siriks' health is about one-thirdfull.
After that, two Fallen Walker tanks will appear, and Siriks will return in a massive Brig mech.Takeout the Brig while dodging its attacks. Once defeated, grab the Outbreak Perfected schematic, andyou're done!
Remember thatthe weapon can now be craftedwith additional perks at yourdisposalso don't forget to speak to Ada-1 at theTower,and complete the "Outbreak Refined 1" to do so.
