Dating back to ancient times, each of the different week dayswere named and believed to specifically correspond with different planets and with the gods or goddesses who ruled them.
The ruling deity of the day varied depending on the culture, but interestingly the planetary influences hold true, and I think you'll find, continue to ring true today.

According to my research, it was in European times that people really began recognizing not only the gods and goddesses but also the Archangels associated with each of the planets, the thereby the Archangels associated with each of the days.
I have found this information helpful to know, because not only is there a specific energetic tone to different days, but each of the 7 Archangels become easier to hear and work with on their particular day of the week.
Of course, the higher spiritual realms of the Archangels are always accessible… But when first learning to connect it can be helpful to get a little added boost!

Angel of Sunday: Archangel Michael
Archangel Michael– “Who Is Like God” (Hebrew)
Offers Divine Protection, releases fear, and helps to inspire purpose. Michael works closely with Lightworkers, with individuals who seek to know their Divine Purpose, and promote positive change on the planet. Archangel Michael is one of the easiest Archangels to hear, and he offers direct guidance, and support when called upon.
Angel of Monday: Archangel Gabriel
Archangel Gabriel- “My strength is God”
Gabriel's main focus is Divine Communication. Gabriel helps communication to flow with the divine qualities of beauty, grace, and clarity. Call upon Archangel Gabriel for more effective communication with others, or to get a message out in a written, or spoken form. Gabriel also works closely with mothers, and children, and she will help you to nurture yourself, and your inner-child.
Angel of Tuesday: Archangel Uriel or Archangel Camael
Archangel Uriel– “God is my light”
Uriel offers an open door to Universal Light and Divine Guidance. The Fire of God, Uriel works to bring illumination to all human souls and will assist you in directly connecting with the flow of Divine Love and Wisdom. Archangel Uriel will help you to transform every aspect of your life through purifying your mental and emotional perspective, and transmuting lower vibrations into enlightened spiritual understanding.
Angel of Wednesday: Archangel Raphael
Archangel Raphael –“Healer of God”
Raphael's main focus is healing, on all levels including mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical healing. Raphael helps those who are in need of healing, those who are healers, and those who wish to develop healing abilities. Simply ask Archangel Raphael to help you, or to go to a loved one, and you will invoke the assistance of this powerful Archangel. Raphael will also work behind the scenes to heal situations, relationships, and to inspire you to make healthy choices.
Angel of Thursday: Archangel Zadkiel or Archangel Sachiel
There are references which list Zadkiel and Sachiel as the same being… However, my experience is that they each have an individualized Divine I Am Core, so I'll describe them both for you here.
Archangel Zadkiel “Righteousness of God”

Archangel Sachiel “The Covering of God”
Sachiel or Sachael is an angel of wealth, water, success and prosperity. Sachiel’s energy is big, bright, soothing and incredibly uplifting. His bright loving presence brings hope, inspires health, cuts through negative emotional energy, depression and despair by reconnecting you with the true authenticity of your soul light and purpose. Sachiel supports with expansion and growth in all ways, helping those who call upon him to sync with the flow abundance, prosperity and good fortune.
Archangel of Friday: Archangel Anael or Archangel Haniel
Again, you can find references of Anael and Haniel to be the same being, however this has not been my experience.
Archangel Haniel“Grace of God”
Haniel is the Archangel of life forceenergy, vibrant well-being, and passion for life. Archangel Haniel will nurture you, cleanse your being and transmit any worry or lower vibrations back into the light.Haniel also offers protection, harmony, and grace and will assist you in staying poised and centered amidst changes or new beginnings.
Archangel Anael “Joy of God”
Anael is an archangelic being of love and joy.Anael in Hebrew literally meaning “Joy of God” or “Grace of God”.
Anael offers guidance and frequency in support of all relationships, artistic matters, creativity and anywhere study, teaching and learning are involved.
Archangel of Saturday: Archangel Cassiel
Archangel Cassiel (Oriphiel) –“Speed of God”
Cassiel is associated with the planet Saturn and with taking responsibility, taking action, and getting more balanced and grounded.
Know as “The Father of Time” or the Archangel of Time, Cassiel which comes from the Hebrew word: Kafziel meaning “Speed of God” can assist with healing along the lines of time, aligning with the Divine nature of time… And accessing the hidden secrets and mysteries of the universe held within and outside of time itself.
